Bernie and Jo Brosnan breed beef cattle and Australian Stockhorses on their 1500-acre property. Bernie is the youngest of eight children and the third-generation to own and operate his family home, Wynola. They are passionate about life on the land and feel blessed to live in such a magnificent part of Australia. They also both work full time off the property so their camping business is low impact and low volume. They believe the divide between rural and urban Australia has widened and there are fewer city-based people able to experience the joy of spending school holidays and weekends at their country cousins’ farms. Hosting campers gives us the opportunity to bring people back to the simplicity of country life.
